Don Peoples is a visual communicator based in Akron, Ohio. He is a graphic designer for the Akron-Summit County Public Library as well as a freelance artist. His work has appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions. Don is also a commissioned

public artist.

 

After graduating from the vocational commercial art program at Central-Hower High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from The University of Akron.

 

Don is the Chief Creative Officer and Artist of Peoples Greetings, creating personalized caricature greeting cards and humorous postcards featuring the “Postcard Pals”—Penguin, Polar Bear, Porcupine, and Peoples himself.
